We woke up slowly and enjoyed the view from our crisp cool bed, with the double doors open and tea in hand.
As usual, the breakfast rocked my world and kept me nicely full until supper time. I still think of those Bibingka weeks later.
Although check out is at 12pm, we were invited to relax by the pool for the rest of the day.
But first, we decided we wanted to see Boracay and the neighbouring islands from above, so we did! Within the hotel there is an office which can organise private helicopters transfers, jets to different islands or if you would just like a tour of the island, this is also possible.

We skipped from the beach, to the pool, to the bar and enjoyed our last day very much.
As sunset began, we ordered cocktails, took a dip and enjoyed the live music. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen.
We watched some fire dancers and giggled away until Max volunteered me for a picture with them in front of a large audience.
The evening drew to a close and with heavy hearts we grabbed our bags and left behind this beautiful, happy, relaxing place.
Thank you Shangri-La Boracay, it was the most wonderful stay and so very memorable.
We left feeling rejuvenated and rested, and I couldn’t recommend the hotel more.
No doubt we will stay with them again in another country around the world. * Nudge, nudge, wink wink*…
Perhaps the Maldives? Better start saving…
awesome chopper ride!
